Joe and Joe’s | Sustainable Restaurant Review
Dine in | Take Out | Bar
Joe and Joe’s Restaurant in Pearl River is a dining experience that will make your senses dance.
This eco-friendly eatery is making the right moves when it comes to protecting the planet so it’s one of our favorite local restaurants. From their accessible website to their waste-reduction practices, Joe and Joe’s is a shining example of how simple changes can make for a sustainable restaurant.
Owner, Joe Longobardo, was kind enough to share that they use the town’s composting services and locally sourced materials when possible. They’re also switched from plastic to paper takeout supplies, including using composite plates.
But let’s talk about the food!
Trust us, you won’t be disappointed. Joe and Joe’s menu is chock full of delicious dishes that satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. (Ask my husband how we know.) And with their focus on using fresh, seasonal ingredients, you can feel good about indulging in every bite.
Finally, with separate dining and bar areas, you can choose between a quiet dining experience or a fun-filled game day. You don’t have to pass the bar to reach the dining room but you can see it when waiting to be seated, if you choose. The Joe and Joe Restaurant bar is cozy but outfitted with enough TV screens to enjoy a game.
So whether you’re an avid environmentalist or want to do your part to protect the planet, Joe and Joe’s Restaurant is the perfect place to fully experience a meal that won’t leave you feeling guilty – or hungry!
