MTM Equities Supports Food Waste Action Week 2026

PEARL RIVER, NY – March 09, 2026 – MTM Equities is thrilled to support Love Food Hate Waste’s Food Waste Action Week, running from March 9th to 15th, 2026. As the flagship annual event delivered by WRAP, this campaign unites governments, community groups, and brands worldwide to inspire practical actions that help food go further while saving money, time, and the planet.

The 2026 Food Waste Action Week theme is ‘Make your food go fuuuurther: for your pocket, for our planet.’ By preventing waste, using up leftovers, and recycling anything that cannot be eaten, we can unlock more value from the food we already have. Throughout the week, Love Food Hate Waste will share targeted daily tips:

• Monday: For your money.
• Tuesday: For your time.
• Wednesday: For our planet.
• Thursday: For your health.
• Friday: For your headspace.

Dr Sam Hubble, Specialist for Food System Transformation at WRAP, emphasizes the impact of these daily habits. “Eat what you buy, and love every mouthful. It’s a win-win: it’s saving money, it’s saving resources, and it’s a simple thing that we can all do to save the planet. Food needs to go in bellies, not bins.”

To champion this vital cause, MTM Equities is rolling out enhanced compost and food waste recycling messaging across our portfolio of residential properties.
